Michael Ellis
Michael has over twenty-five years experience of training and therapeutic work; particularly in the early stages of his career in the public and voluntary sector. He has held a number of posts with public sector and voluntary agencies including head of the training department of a large voluntary organisation.
For over thirteen years he has been a director of the London Gestalt Centre, a partnership organisation with London Metropolitan University which trains psychotherapists and counsellors. Since 2002 he has been the managing director.
Michael has been a qualified psychotherapist for over twenty years and combines this work with training, supervision and organisational consultancy.

- Role supervision of coaches
- Psychotherapy and Counselling training
- Process consultancy for organisations
- Teaching gestalt theory and methodology to a wide range of organisations in the private, statutory and voluntary sectors.
- Psychotherapy with individuals and couples
- Supervision of psychotherapists and counsellors
- Providing training in group facilitation skills
Michael has worked with individuals and teams in many settings including: NHS, Local Government, housing agencies, banking, media post production, charities and drug re-habilitation agencies.
Michael has an M.A in Organisational Consultancy from the Tavistock Clinic and is a UKCP registered Gestalt Psychotherapist. He is also a BACP accredited trainer and a member of TSPAP.
