Richard Davis

Richard is a process Consultant whose aim is to help clients maximise their organisational performance through people. Richard read law at university, then spent four years in the Army before moving into industry. Here he worked for Bowater, JR Crompton and Bunzl, the latter as Executive Board member of a subsidiary with overall responsibility for Human Resources.  During this time he managed the company restructuring programme which led to a very substantial increase in profits.

From there moved into a consultancy career with assignments in both the public and private sectors. Richard’s work covers four major areas: discovering talent, developing the individual, building high performance teams and organisational change through the Business Excellence Model and helping organisations achieve Investors in Excellence. 

Key areas of work include:

  • Designing and running assessment centres programmes
  • Using pd360 to identify competencies and areas for development
  • Introducing organisations to Investors in Excellence and facilitating the diagnostic and subsequent stages
  • Running leadership development programmes
  • Building teams and using leadership assimilation
  • Organisational development with the focus on improving results through people
  • Coaching and facilitating senior managers
  • Creation of quality improvement teams

Richard has an LL.B and an MSc in Management Application.  As part of his work Richard uses a variety of psychometric tools including, a range of SHL products, MBTI, FIRO elements and TCI to help provide insight into the interpersonal dynamics that exist within client organisations.

Richard has lectured on MBA and MSc programmes
