David Willcock
David has over 26 years’ experience of Human Resource Management and Development in the private, public and voluntary sectors. His in company career included senior positions in HR Management and Development with Prudential Portfolio Managers Worldwide and Prudential UK. Here he gained significant experience of supporting people through major organisation changes, which included extensive team development and management coaching work.
As an external OD consultant since 1996 David has specialised in coaching leaders and managers, coaching and facilitating teams and supporting the people aspects of organisation change.
Key areas of work have included:
- Management and leadership team development and coaching
- Developing team working across organisations, including large groups
- Extensive coaching of individual leaders and managers
- Running leadership development programmes using action learning
- Organisation development consultancy in support of business strategy
- Providing organisation development support during significant changes, e.g. running change workshops to support people at all levels
- Providing training in coaching and facilitation skills
- Running open programmes in London for internal and external change agents
David has worked with organisations in the UK and abroad across a range of sectors including: banking, finance and insurance; pharmaceuticals; computer software; electronics; consulting and professional services; food and drug retail; transport and logistics; central and local government and charity.
David has a MSc. in Personnel Management, a Diploma in Gestalt Organisation Consulting and a post-graduate Diploma in Gestalt Therapy. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Chartered FCIPD) and a Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC). David is qualified to Level A with the British Psychological Society and in a number of Level B psychometric instruments including MBTI, FIRO Elements and the Hogan Development Survey.
David has published material on Executive Coaching and Change Leadership.
